Senior Neighbors
Grandpa Francois, and Grandpa Menyo, were recently enlisted to be the first-ever Refugee Foster Grandparents at Glenwood Elementary! Thank you Kent School Services Network - KSSN for participating in this wonderful partnership to bring our community together.Did you know that Grandparents have secret powers? Glenwood Elementary, in the Kentwood Public Schools district, knows this firsthand! Our coordinator, Maddie, recently started a partnership with Senior Neighbors to bring in senior volunteers who are representative of the Glenwood students. Big thanks to Senior Neighbors, all the "Grandparents" who spend time at Glenwood, and of course, to Maddie, for her thoughtfulness around leveraging the assets of the community to support the school and students! ...
