Meet Your Neighbors Fundraising Luncheon 2020

UPDATE: March 24, 2020
Meet Your Neighbors will move to a Virtual Event!
Considering the proactive measures being taken in the community to stop the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to transition to a Virtual Event to be held the week of April 27th.

We are still working on the details of this new Virtual Event and more is to come soon, but when the time comes, we will need your help to share the event far and wide. During this time when seniors are especially vulnerable and in need of support, your participation will help us to reach a new audience and raise much needed funds to continue this work.
With your help, I know we can make this a success!

Our annual Meet Your Neighbors Luncheon is a chance for you to hear from members of our Senior Neighbor staff, board, clients and families to learn how Senior Neighbors brings resources and hope to seniors living independently in our community.

This annual fundraising luncheon brings together guests who are otherwise unfamiliar with the work of Senior Neighbors for a light lunch and an opportunity to learn more about our mission. Guests are invited to the event by “table hosts,” who reach out to members of their community to fill their table. Each year around 250 guests gather to support the programs and services provided by Senior Neighbors to older adults living in Kent County.

There is no cost to attend, yet we hope you will be moved to make a donation after hearing about the potential impact of your support.

If you have questions or are interested in being a table host, contact Kristy Blackmore, Development Coordinator, at (616) 233-0739 or
