For Caregivers
Empowering Caregivers, Enriching Senior Lives
Senior Neighbors supports caregivers by connecting loved ones with trusted community resources like transportation, meals, and engaging programs. This reduces the stress of navigating care alone. We also help caregivers access respite services, offering a break or time to focus on their own needs.

Weekly Respite
If your loved one spends most of their time at home, they don’t have to feel alone. Our Senior Companion volunteers bring friendship and a caring presence with their weekly visits that give you the peace of mind to rest and focus on your own responsibilities. This program is the best fit if you are looking for consistent, long-term support focused on social connection as the volunteers cannot perform personal care or medical tasks. Volunteers complete a rigorous background check process and training before they are eligible to be matched as a companion.

One-Time Respite
We provide respite certificates that cover a few days of in-home help from a local home health care agency or adult day center programming so that you can get extra help for travelling, attending a special event or just try out services at little to no cost. This is also the best option if your loved one has medical or personal care needs.

Practical Support
Caring for a loved one can also come with the challenge of finding and coordinating the right resources, while trying to also keep up with your own responsibilities. Our case management staff can help lighten the load and assist you with the process of applying for local services such as home delivered meals, transportation, financial support and so much more.
