Planned Giving
Your Legacy, Close to Home.
If caring for older adults has shaped your life, a simple provision in your plans can help future neighbors remain independent, connected, and no longer alone. Planned gifts sustain services that keep people safe at home and engaged in community.
Ways to Give:
A Gift in Your Will or Living Trust
Name Senior Neighbors for a specific amount, a percentage, or the residue after other commitments are met.
A Beneficiary Designation
Name Senior Neighbors on a retirement account, bank account, or life‑insurance policy. This is often as simple as completing your provider’s form.
A Gift to our Endowment
If you prefer, you may direct a legacy gift to the Senior Neighbors endowment at the Grand Rapids Community Foundation to support services over time.
Sample Bequest Language
“I give [dollar amount or percentage of my estate] to Senior Neighbors, Inc., a nonprofit organization located at 678 Front Avenue NW, Suite 205, Grand Rapids, MI 49504, to be used where the need is greatest.”
