By becoming a Sponsor, you’ll strengthen the independence and enrich the well-being of older adults throughout Kent County. Annual Sponsors are recognized throughout the year, at all major events, for their generous partnership, while Event Sponsors receive targeted recognition through the 16 Over 60 Awards Gala, held each fall.
You will be recognized and appreciated for your generous support.
We’ll make a diverse audience aware of your caring partnership with Senior Neighbors, including clients and their families, community and business leaders, senior advocates, service providers and your fellow philanthropists.
The forms and extent of recognition you receive are up to you! Depending on your type and level of sponsorship, benefits may include print ads, social media call-outs, recognition on our website, free event registrations, posters at our various locations and events, verbal acknowledgement at events, and recognition in our monthly newsletter.

In printed displays and materials at events
- Recognition as Community Partners in Philanthropy on the Senior Neighbors website, and on posters at each of our five Senior Centers and main office in downtown Grand Rapids.
- Recognition at other events during the year, including our spring Meet Your Neighbors luncheon and events for our clients, like the highly popular Senior Picnic.
- Exclusive recognition in Senior Neighbors’ monthly Senior Center Newsletter.
Level of Sponsorship . . . Gold, Silver, Bronze or Friend?
Annual and Gala Sponsorships are both available at four different levels of support: Gold, Silver, Bronze and Friend. Your level of sponsorship determines the benefits and types of recognition you’ll receive through our annual 16 Over 60 Awards Gala. Annual Sponsors receive the same above benefits relating to the 16 Over 60 Awards Gala as do Gala Sponsors, depending on their level of sponsorship (i.e., Gold, Silver, Bronze or Friend). All Annual Sponsors also receive additional special recognition throughout the year:

Sponsorships received after these deadlines are gratefully accepted, though recognition may be reduced.
– Annual Sponsorships must be received by April 15.
– Event Sponsorships must be received by Sept. 16.
