COMPANIONSHIP

Senior Companions spend time with older adults who have difficulty with daily living tasks, to help them live fuller and more independent lives. Volunteers may help run errands, drive to medical appointments, read or provide social interaction. Volunteers are available to provide these services in homes or senior facilities. These tasks allow older adults to remain in their homes longer, prevent feelings of isolation and give caregivers a break.
