Tutor and mentor children from birth to age 18
As a Foster Grandparent, you have the opportunity shape a child’s future through mentoring or tutoring. This national program allows older adults to work with children with exceptional needs. Volunteers assist in the classroom to help students understand subject matter, engage in learning activities and promote positive behaviors.

Volunteer Requirements
- Be at least 55 years old
- Volunteer at least 5-40 hours/week (during the school year)
- Meet the income limitations
- Pass a criminal background check
- Attend training before classroom placement
