our mission

Every year, over 5,000 older adults receive services through Senior Neighbors, helping them stay independent through a wide range of essential services and five Senior Neighbors centers. The well-being of older adults is targeted with services that promote self-sufficiency, especially to those with physical, social or economic needs living in Kent County.

Senior Neighbors welcomes all seniors in Kent County. Our goal is for all seniors to feel accepted as they are, to share a sense of belonging and help them find the assistance they need to live their best life. We recognize that racism, discrimination, and other forms of oppression are prevalent, including within systems and institutions, and we are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed, heard, and comfortable being themselves.
